​Direct Support Staff specific to Lakefield Individual:​

DAC is looking for someone to work M-F from 9:00 - 3:00 with a person in Lakefield within their home. This staff would help with daily cleaning, organization, transportation to appointments and groceries, helping to fill out a calendar and keep appointments, bills, etc. organized, helping to organize mail, and some meal prep. Hourly rate of pay is $17.00 - $20.00/hour. Benefits can include AFLAC, Life Insurance Policy, Simple IRA, PTO and/or ESST, and local gym membership. When not working specifically with this person, hours are available at the DAC Facility and/or within other people's home. If full time hours are wanted, more hours are available. Employment Specialist:

​

DAC is looking for a self-starting, motivated person to help us on our journey to add more employment opportunities and employment services to the people we serve at the DAC. This is a brand-new position and will require someone with high energy and motivation, good communication skills, computer skills, and a willingness to promote the DAC within the community and to help individuals supported advocate employment for themselves. Minnesota Department of Human Services and the Disability Hub provide an engaging, learning curriculum for this person to learn the teaching process and allow them to complete the curriculum with persons served by the DAC. This will be a rewarding position that will establish multiple relationships within the communities of Lakefield and Jackson, and surrounding communities. This person will meet individually with individuals to help them start and learn about the employment process, along with helping them learn a little bit more about themselves and their dreams/goals for the future. This will be a full-time position, from 8:30 - 4:30, M - F with an office at our Lakefield facility. Starting wage will be within the range of $20 - $22 per hour. Direct Support Staff

DAC is now hiring Direct Support Professionals. DSPs provide direct care to individuals served by the DAC. This could be at our local worksite, within their homes, and/or job coaching in the community. DSPs create social opportunities and promote community involvement.
